So instead of 480 visible lines it would be 240 visible (sometimes less).<br /><br />A few advanced consoles could do the full 480 scanlines but then the game image would flicker, due to interlace effect. TV doesn't work, but the radio has a great sound. I bought it in the early 80's--expensive then.
