I'm afraid that I'll never be able to keep this all straight in my tired brain, but this is an excellent reference to which I'll return.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993165553021868648.post-37721634038398333022020-09-02T16:27:22.474-04:002020-09-02T16:27:22.474-04:00The Only Version Of 1925's The Phantom Of The ...The Only Version Of 1925's The Phantom Of The Opera That I Prefer And That I Watch And That I Like Is The 1929 Restored Sound Version With The Original Synchronized Soundtrack (95 Mins).Alex Krajcihttps://www.letterboxd.com/movielover1994/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993165553021868648.post-28468010565228177872020-02-27T15:55:26.756-05:002020-02-27T15:55:26.756-05:00I supplied the "Hampton" print and the F...I supplied the "Hampton" print and the FAUST short for the Milestone release. Two notes - the actor who plays the man with the lantern (at least in the Hampton close-up shot) is D'Arcy Corrigan. Second, the FAUST short is an extract from MIDSTREAM - a 1929 part-talkie produced by Tiffany Studios.Ray Faiolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06443523643002272869noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993165553021868648.post-79441514021446469742018-02-04T16:53:30.606-05:002018-02-04T16:53:30.606-05:00https://lefantome3d.wordpress.com/https://lefantome3d.wordpress.com/Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07730917630254293462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6993165553021868648.post-38249577146000683362015-08-25T03:59:50.433-04:002015-08-25T03:59:50.433-04:00I noticed that the Gabriel Thibaudeau score is a h...I noticed that the Gabriel Thibaudeau score is a half-beat off on the Image Entertainment blu ray released in 2011. It is especially noticeable leading up to the unmasking scene. Watch and listen as Chaney's hands move on the organ keyboard. The sync problem does not exist on the 1997 Image DVD. The soundtrack on that earlier release is SPOT-ON.<br />Allen VoiceAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13523871522594746914noreply@blogger.com
